What's NEW ? ? ?

The Graffiato Collection !!! Is HERE !  It has been hand carved from wax + is cast using the lost wax casting process in your choice of Solid Bronze or Sterling Silver, made specially for YOU  >  >

The inspiration for this collection came from my growing love for street art and graffiti. As I've slowly began traveling the world I've come to recognize the works of many street artists and as I've become more familiar, I've discovered how much I love being on a completely different side of the globe and finding someone's work I recognize. That contradictory feeling of the familiar and the unfamiliar colliding is amazing.

We're all here trying to leave little pieces of "us" + the Graffiato Collection was created as a reminder to scratch away your name in everything you do, to leave your mark in this beautiful world.

Made in New York City. Conceptualized from across the world.

Each piece is made to order and unique.  PLACE YOUR ORDER HERE :)  If you have any questions regarding sizing or need help with figuring out your ring size leave a comment below + I'll get you fixed up in no time :)

Where does the word GRAFFIATO come from?? Both "graffiti" and its occasional singular form "graffito" are from the Italian word graffiato meaning "scratched." Graffiti is writing or drawings that have been scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall or other surface, often in a public place.  Graffiti ranges from simple written words to elaborate wall paintings, and it has existed since ancient times, with examples dating back to Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, and the Roman Empire.  Graffiti is applied in art history to works of art produced by scratching a design into a surface. A related term is sgraffito, which involves scratching through one layer of pigment to reveal another beneath it.

my return to the blogosphere.

Holy Moly! My last post was in January?! Boy, does time fly, especially when you're having fun and working so much you don't even have time to sleep.  All in a good way though, it's true what they say you know- if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.  I know thats easier said than done, as I've worked a lot of jobs (in the short nine years of hustling in the real world) and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have sacrificed my sleep for any of them other than making jewelry, doing something creative/art related or being on set.  That being said, I thought I would get back to blogging.

I hope you've enjoyed your summer and managed to squeeze in some awesomely fun things.  Here's a recap on a portion of the summer for garage gypsy :)
